Hello everyone,

Well, today is weigh in day and I must say I’m quite pleased! I did not exercise at all this month but I did stick to my diet and still lost weight and inches!

After trying several ways to diet, I have found that counting calories is the best way to go! We have had pizza (one slice), tostadas (just one), we even had a piece of cake for my daughter’s birthday.  We really pay attention to what we are putting in our bodies!

From the first meal of the day, we eat every 2 1/2 - 3 hours and consume no more than 300 calories per meal. Now, when we go over our allotment, we try to compensate on the next meal. We try to eat no less than 5 meals per day. So if we go over in calories for a meal, we consider it a cheat meal and only have one per week, if that! Does that make sense??

On average, we consume 1500 caloies per day, which is why we are still losing weight without exercising! For March, I’m going to make it a goal to exercise at least 3 times a week. I KNOW I will get better results! So, with that in mind, here are my February results!

My Weight & Measurements on 3/1/09:

  • Weight - 144 lbs
  • Bust - 36 1/2″
  • Waist - 33 1/4″
  • Under Waist - 34 1/4″
  • Hips - 41 3/4″
  • Arms - 11 1/2″
  • Thighs - 24 1/2″

Results for 3/1/09:

  • Weight Loss = 8 lbs
  • Inch Loss = 4 1/4″

Total Results Since 12/31/08:

  • Weight Loss = 18 lbs
  • Total Inch Loss = 17 3/4″

 

 Well, I’m very pleased with my results so far! I think I’m going to create a “Receipes” category soon and start posting some of our favorites. Most are very basic but on ocassion we eat some tasty meals! If you have any questions or would like to post your own weight loss results, please do! I will talk to you later!
