Hi everyone,

I’m almost done with day 2. I must say, today was much easier than yesterday! I still have night-time cravings but I hope that will stop soon. I have found that drinking a cup of green tea helps curb my appetite. So that will be my new “best friend” for a while. But I don’t mind, green tea tastes good and has a lot of “healing” properties as an added bonus! It has also been helping me as I’m cutting out caffiene and have been getting the “withdrawal” headaches. Hopefully, thoses will be gone in a couple of days!

Well, I had a terrible night sleep last night! With all the water I drank through-out the day, I must have woke up AT LEAST 5 times to use the bathroom! So I slept a little later than I wanted.

I decided to do my cardio on an empty stomach this morning so I rode the bike for 30 minutes and put it on the interval setting. I burned another 150 calories for a 6 mile ride. This time I was much more sweaty so it felt like I did a better job. I have been making it a habit to stretch immediately after my exercise to prevent sore muscles and it’s been working really well!

For breakfast I had oatmeal, a banana and a glass of water. I like oatmeal because it “sticks” with me longer than anything else. I had to work today and I wanted to eat an actual meal before hand; so I made a salad and put a whole can of tuna with just a tiny bit of Italian dressing to give it some flavor. I wasn’t to thrilled about having that for lunch because I’m really not into tuna. I can eat it, but I’d rather have canned chicken. But to my surprise, it tasted SO GOOD!

I took my protein with me to make a shake halfway through my shift so that by the time I was off work, I could eat dinner. My husband made dinner and saved me a plate. He made me a small chicken breast (baked of course), about 1/2 a cup of steamed rice, steamed broccoli and a glass of water.

I also have the low-cal flavoring to put in water so it is like my new “soda.” I also use it to mix with my protein powder. I use orange flavored water and vanilla protein powder and it tastes like an Orange Julius. And my last “meal” of the day will be a protein shake and a banana just as soon as I’m done typing this post.

While I have been typing this post, my husband has been reading me weight loss success stories and showing me before and after photos he found while surfing. The people he has shown me are a true inspiration and help me realize that I can do ANYTHING I set my mind to! I hope that I can be an inspiration to other people who are on the same path I am!

Have a good evening! I’m gonna go and drink my shake now!
