Hello ladies! I know it has been awhile since my last post. I’ve been busy with work and my husband, Don, and I took the kids on a mini vacation.

We were supposed to go to Clearwater, Florida but the weather forcast for the week we were set to be there had severe thunderstorm warnings. We were sad that we were unable to play at the beach but we will go next year!

Right before my vacation, I was feeling in a negative mood. I had been feeling that way for several days. Sometimes it’s very hard to not let that show and put on a happy face! Then, there are people who are very negative and they show their anger to everyone in their path. I know, because I have encountered a few working in retail.

If you are not in a good mood, it’s not fair to treat others badly. I totally believe in the law of attraction. I know you have heard of this and some of you are probably rolling your eyes right now but it is TRUE!

Think about it. When you are mad or in a bad mood, it always seems as if you are having bad luck. You go to the store and they are out of the thing you needed, the only parking spot available is very far from the door and when your done shopping, it starts to rain right as you are getting ready to walk outside. You just feel as though the world is against you!

IT’S NOT! It’s your negative attitude! Like attracts like! And if you want to attract good things, then you need to think good thoughts and project good behavior! I know sometimes it is so hard to do that but if you do, you will be rewarded!

Here are some things I do to stay positive:

  • I meditate – this works great if you take a few extra minutes before you get out of bed to relax your mind. I also picture myself having a great day, smiling and having fun!
  • I use my mental pause button – When I’m feeling stressed, overwhelmed or have a not-so-nice customer, I pause, take a couple of deep breaths and count to ten. It works pretty good!
  • I block out or push out all negative thoughts – As soon as a negative thought enters my mind, I immediately push it out of my mind and replace it with a good thought. It takes some practice and discipline but it works very well!
  • I try to avoid gossip – I know that sounds silly but gossip almost always leads to talking bad about someone or something. And that is not good karma!

Sometimes, you need to fake it for it to become a good habit! Sometimes all it takes is making someone else happy to change your mood and make you happy!

I had such a great day today and all my customers were happy and in great moods too! Well, I hope some of my suggestions can help you if you are having a hard day! Just do your best to stay positive and you will start to feel better!

If you have any suggestions that you would like to include, please post a comment and tell us works for you!

Until next time…..
