I am trying to live a more motivated and inspired life; and I decided that part of living this way included being healthy. I want to lose at least 30 pounds but would be estatic if I can lose 45 pounds!

For the past 10 days I have changed my diet completely! I stopped drinking soda and now only drink water. For a variety, I purchased the no cal/no sugar flavorings that you put in your water bottle and to my surprise, it’s really good!

I have also reduced my portion sizes and eat more often. I have lost 7 pounds already! For the past couple of years I have been experiencing poor nights sleep and have resulted to taking Benadryl just to get a good nights sleep.

I am tired of doing that and know that if I exercise, it will help me to lose weight at a faster rate and help me to kick the Benadryl habit. I just don’t like what I see when I look in the mirror and know that I am the only one who can change that!

So , today after work, I changed into my workout clothes and did 30 minutes of cardio (The Biggest Loser cardio dvd). Boy did I burn calories! And boy am I tired! It’s been about 2 years since the last time I did that much physical activity in such a short amount of time!

I am going to be so sore tomorrow! I will probably get teased at work for walking slow and looking stiff. Oh well, at least I took the first step! I completed Day 1! Yeah!!

I know this will help other women who might be struggling with a new diet and exercise plan. If you are, DON’T GIVE UP!!! YOU CAN DO IT!

I will take my “before” picture and when I hit my first goal of 30 pounds, I will post the “before and after” pic for everyone to see! I know I can do it, I WILL do it!
